Tuesday, August 2, 2022

As transmission levels of COVID-19 are on the rise, the Court reminds visitors to be prepared when entering our courthouses by reviewing Operating Order 22-01, which provides the following:

(1)      Entry to Courthouses. Any guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC") regarding any adverse event, including but not limited to a local or national emergency or other event impacting court operations or public safety, shall be followed for entry to any bankruptcy courthouse, except as otherwise ordered by this court, a presiding judge of this court, or another federal court with appropriate jurisdiction and authority. The Clerk of Court or General Services Administration will ensure that notice of such guidance is posted at courthouse public entry points. The United States Marshal, his Deputies, and the Court Security Officers shall enforce this Order and deny entry to any visitor refusing to comply.
