Transcripts & Audio Recordings

To obtain an official written transcript for court hearings:

  1. Complete a Transcript request form

  2. Electronically file the completed transcript request form in the corresponding case using the Request for Transcript event found on the CM/ECF "Bankruptcy", "Other" event menu.

  3. The recording and other pertinent records will be sent by the court directly to the transcriber.

 

To obtain an audio recording of court hearings:

  1. Complete an Audio Recording Order form

    1. Audio recordings are provided on a CD, or an electronic file, which is delivered on a USB Flash Drive.

    2. The cost to obtain the CD or USB Drive is $32.00

    3. The CD and USB Drive require an FTR player, which may be obtained free at www.fortherecord.com (link is external).

  2. Electronically file the completed Audio Recording Order form in the corresponding case using the "Request for Audio Recording" event found on the CM/ECF "Bankruptcy", "Other" event menu. The event prompts filers to select the desired format for the audio recording (CD or USB Flash Drive). Alternatively, the form may be mailed to the Clerk of Court at 1100 Laurel Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

  3. The $32.00 fee may be paid online when the Audio Recording Order form is filed. If the form is mailed to the court, payment must be made by cashier's check or money order.
