Judge Waites invites paralegals and other support staff of the Charleston and Columbia  Bar to a follow-up meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2:15 p.m.  to further discuss best practices and topics of interest to practitioners. The Judge, his law clerks and members of Judge Waites' case administration and courtroom staff will be available for questions and will discuss issues associated with case administration. The meeting will be held in Charleston at 145 King Street, Rm 225 and in Columbia at the J. Bratton Davis United States Bankruptcy Courthouse in the second floor courtroom and joined by video conference.    If interested in attending, please RSVP by sending an email to Agnes_Babb@scb.uscourts.gov or Pam_Miranda@scb.uscourts.gov on or before 5:00 p.m. on July 5, 2013. In order to better serve your needs, we ask that each attendee submit in advance a few questions and any suggestions for topics to the above email addresses by the same deadline.
(Due to recent changes in case assignment, Judge Waites will not regularly receive newly filed Spartanburg/Greenville cases, but welcomes paralegals and support staff from that division to participate in this meeting if they would like.)
