CM/ECF and Pacer will not be available between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm this Saturday, September 9th, 2006. The court will be installing version 3.0 of CM/ECF during this time. The CM/ECF Participant's Guides which will be affected by this change have been updated to reflect the new version and are available here. An overview of the changes to CM/ECF is available here.
Version 3.0 of CM/ECF is now available in the Court's Training database (ecf-train.scb.uscourts.gov) for those users that would like a preview. You should contact your Bankruptcy software vendor to make sure you have the latest version of your petition software. Additionally, please note that you must immediately change your password if you have a “~” (tilda) in your password (instructions here). 3.0 will not recognize the password as valid and will not allow a modification after conversion.
Version 3.0 of CM/ECF includes modifications to the automatic discharge of chapter 7 no asset cases. The Court will temporarily suspend the automatic discharge of 7NA cases for two weeks until the new modifications can be verified in the new version. If you feel your chapter 7 no asset is eligible for a discharge and need a discharge immediately, please call the CM/ECF Helpdesk at 803-253-3624.
