Judge Davis is pleased to announce that Amanda Hoefer and Lauren Schumann will join his chambers as law clerks.  A 2011 graduate of the Charleston School of Law and a 2007 graduate of Wofford College, Lauren has extensive bankruptcy experience working as an assistant to a Chapter 7 trustee and representing consumer debtors in private practice.  She will serve as Judge Davis’ career law clerk.

Amanda will begin her term clerkship on October 7th. She is a 2019 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and a 2016 graduate of Clemson University.  She currently practices in Atlanta, where she specializes in creditors’ rights litigation. Prior to her current role, Amanda served as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court.
