Pursuant to the Court’s directive, the Advisory Committee on Local Rules, Practice, and Procedures has met and recommended a decrease in the presumptive interest rate in chapter 13 cases.  After consideration of the Committee’s recommendation and the recent reduction in interest rates by the Federal Reserve, the Court adopts a rate of 8.25% for the presumptive interest rate in chapter 13 cases to be applied to secured claims, effective for cases filed on or after December 17, 2025.  The Court thanks the members of the Committee for their work and recommendation.
