CM/ECF Server Failover

Friday, March 21, 2014

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina has experienced a hardware failure on its CM/ECF server. As a result, the Court has initiated replication processes with the Administrative Offices of the United States Courts, meaning access to the Court's CM/ECF server will be read-only until new servers are received and installed. During the server's downtime, users will be able to view cases in CM/ECF but will not be able to electronically file documents, open new cases or pay fees online. New servers are expected Monday morning by 10:00 am and the Court anticipates that the CM/ECF server will be fully functional by the close of business Monday. In the meantime, documents and new cases may be paper filed with the Clerk of Court in Columbia and through approved alternate means as provided in Local Rule 5005-4.
