J. Bratton Davis Courthouse

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

On November 5, 2012, the General Services Administration will begin a six month project to restore the exterior of the J. Bratton Davis Courthouse in Columbia. The project will repair damage to the exterior walls, windows, and roof and GSA will also paint the building and improve the landscape. During the course of the project, trees will be removed for scaffolding; however, the main entrance of the building will remain open. The historic courthouse is named for the first judge of this Court. Judge Davis served as a model of professionalism and integrity and the restoration of this building is a fitting honor to his legacy.
