The Local Rules will be updated December 1, 2022, substantially in accordance with the draft changes released for comment on October 3, 2022. 

In addition to these changes, SC LBR 9037-1 (Redaction of Privacy Information) was amended to no longer require a proposed order be filed with the motion.  These forms will be removed from the Local Forms page and the Court will generate an order as needed. 

Organizational changes were also made that affect where information is located.  SC LBR 2090-1 and 5005-4 were amended to incorporate provisions of former Operating Order 21-02 (Guidelines for the Filing of Documents).    Due to this fact and the incorporation of certain other chambers guidelines provisions into the Local Rules, the Common Chambers Guidelines have been updated to avoid duplication.  Additionally, portions of former Operating Order 22-03 (Conduit Plans in Chapter 13 Cases) were incorporated into SC LBR 3015-1, moving the common procedures for conduit plans for all judges to that rule.  Operating Order 22-04 (Conduit Mortgage Payments in Cases Assigned to Judge Duncan and Judge Gasparini) has been entered, which includes the existing requirement of a conduit plan in certain instances for cases assigned to those judges.  

Lastly, the revised Local Rules removed Notes that pre-date 2017.  A version of the Local Rules with the full Notes history is still available.
