The Court will be closed on Friday, December 22nd and Monday and Tuesday of the following week, December 25th and 26th.  Please refer to this order for additional details on computing time during that period.  Both Judges will be holding Court in Columbia on December 28th.  Because of the pending holidays, please be mindful that there may be delays in having orders entered or request for continuances granted prior to the hearing, and, depending on when they are submitted, it is possible there may not be sufficient time to consider requests or approve orders prior to the hearing.  The parties are advised to check the calendar in advance of the hearing on December 28th to determine whether a matter was removed from the calendar.  Appearance at the hearing will only be excused if the matter was removed.  To ensure that the Court has sufficient time to process requests or orders prior to the hearing, the parties are encouraged to submit them in advance of December 22nd to the extent possible.
