E-filers are reminded that Operating Order 08-07 permits electronic service of pleadings on other e-filers, except in instances where service is required by Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7004. The United States Trustee has indicated that service may be effected on it electronically, except when paper service is required by Rule 7004, pursuant to Fed. R. Bankr. P. 5005(b), which allows parties to deliver pleadings to the United States Trustee other than by mail. E-filers are encouraged to rely on electronic service to reduce cost and prevent duplication service and notice where e-filers are also sending notice and service conventionally.
