Amended Operating Order 20-03

Amended Operating Order 20-03 Bankruptcy Court Operations Response to COVID-19 (amending a prior order entered on March 17, 2020) has been entered and posted on the court’s website with other COVID-19 information. A copy is available here. Only paragraphs 2 and 4 have been amended. Paragraph 2 now provides that although the Bankruptcy Clerk’s Office continues to operate without interruption, effective April 2, 2020, the court service counters and public intake areas of the Bankruptcy Clerk’s Offices will be closed to the public until further notice. That paragraph also provides other means for the filing of paper documents and petitions by parties not represented by counsel (pro se parties). Paragraph 4 deals with electronic submission of documents by pro se parties, advising them to consult Operating Order 20-05 Order Temporarily Allowing Unrepresented Parties to File Documents Electronically, along with Chambers Guidelines or Operating Orders for the presiding judge (available at www.scb.uscourts.gov/chambers-guidelines-information), together with www.scb.uscourts.gov/parties-without-attorney.
