The Judicial Conference has approved changes to the Bankruptcy Court Miscellaneous Fee Schedule, in accordance with 28 U.S.C. § 1930(b), effective October 1, 2008. The changes clarify and simplify the language of many of the fee items. The Judicial Conference has also deleted a fee for Microfilm/Microfiche copies as the technology is obsolete. Though the fee amounts remain unchanged, the revised fee schedule now requires an administrative fee of $39.00 from a debtor who moves to divide a joint case.
