The Court has updated the local form Order Authorizing Loss Mitigation/Mortgage Modification for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, which lifts the automatic stay of 11 U.S.C. § 362 for the parties to engage in and complete loss mitigation.  The revised order includes in the relief that “the parties may negotiate and enter into a consensual loan modification agreement including, if applicable, a trial modification, permanent loan modification, and the execution and recording of any other conforming and amended documents.”
