The Clerk of Court would like to welcome you to the website for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. The Court's mission is to provide debtors with a fresh start and the resolution of claims in a fair and efficient forum dedicated to excellent public service. The three federal bankruptcy judges in the District of South Carolina conduct hearings primarily in Columbia, Charleston, and Spartanburg. The Court's Clerk's Office is located in Columbia.
