Judge Waites invites members of the Bar and their staff to attend divisional Bar meetings to address changes in the Chapter 13 plan form and procedures and related local rules as they will specifically apply in cases assigned to Judge Waites. The meeting will be important to members of the Bar for plans filed after December 1, 2017 in Judge Waites cases.

Other topics to be discussed at the meetings include:

· Expansion of the conduit requirements

· Student loan debt treatment

· Changes to the loss mitigation/mortgage modification program.

The Columbia meeting will at the 3rd Floor Courtroom in the J. Bratton Davis United States Bankruptcy Courthouse immediately after the court hearings scheduled for November 30, 2017 (which should conclude on or before approximately 11:00 AM.
