The Court has designated an Access Coordinator to facilitate requests for sign language interpreters and other auxiliary aids for Court participants who are deaf or hearing-impaired. To ensure that services are available at the time of the hearing, parties should complete and file the Request for Services form at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled hearing. If you have questions regarding available services, please contact the Access Coordinator at 803-765-5035 for assistance.

The Court does not have an interpreter on staff. Federal law does not ordinarily require that the Court make an interpreter available to you during proceedings before the bankruptcy court. See 28 U.S.C. § 1827. You are encouraged to bring an interpreter with you to the Court and to any meeting of creditors.
